2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster Review

Mercedes-Benz is never tired to release new model, as well as the newest photos and information of its new 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster sports car, faced to the supercar’s world premiere at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, September this year. The German company’s PR tease continues with the first official photos of the roadster version of the SLS AMG without any kind of camouflage after the release of a barely disguised car in the beginning of this month.

Features:

The Roadster provides the luggage room at the capacity remain at 6.1 cubic feet with the roof either open or closed. It is smaller 0.1 cubic feet than the SLS Coupe which stands at 6.2 cubic feet. Black, beige and a classic red is provided of its fully automatic top. The top takes only 11 seconds to be opened or closed and it can be operated on the move at speeds up to 31 mph or 50km/h.

The Roadster is equipped by several standard features, just like other open top Mercedes models, include the firm’s AIRSCARF system that warms the head and neck areas of the driver and passenger by blowing hot air from vents integrated in the head restraints. Other standard features also available such as a black designo leather treatment, heated AMG sports seats, a detachable glass windstop, COMAND with Navigation and DVD player, anti-theft alarm system with tow-away protection and interior monitoring, dual-zone automatic climate control and the KEYLESSGO starting function.

Engine:

The power is remain the same like other model. The AMG 6.3 liter can be found under the hood of the roadster, mounted with V8 behind the front axle and seven speed dual clutch transmission which drives the rear wheels. Such engine is able to produce 563 hp and 479 pound-feet of torque for the North American specification with the eight cylinder engine. While European model, The Roadster delivers 571 horsepower and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque. With this power, this car have higly potential to chalenge Chevy Intimidator Camaro 2011 if somebody want to tuned this car and can produce more than 700hp. The 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster will go on sale at this fall.

2012 Honda CR-Z iCF Mugen officially announced

2012 Honda CR-Z iCF Mugen has officially announced by Honda U.K and Mugen Euro. This car will available for for test drives in the spring of 2012, said Honda U.K, Mugen Euro Now still working on the car.

The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h can bee reach just in 6.1 seconds, over 3 seconds quicker than the standard car, qoute from the press release. This time archived from the 175 PS ‘pocket rocket’ hybrid engine, that has almost 50 per cent more power than the standard car. The top speed of this car is over 130 mph (209 km/h). The modification from 1.5 liter unit including ECU remap, adding a centrifugal forced air induction system , charge-air cooler and induction system and importantly.

2012 Ford Focus Zetec S detail specs

Ford has unveiled the sport car that special build for UK market, 2012 Ford Focus Zetec S. This car offered in five-door bodystyle with an estate version to follow in February 2012. The design look so sporty with the full sports styling kit that include the front and rear spoilers with lower sill extensions and a set of 17-in alloy wheels, sports suspension, aluminum-style sports pedals, rear LED tail lamps and Ford Power starter button.

In the Interior, this special car comes with Zetec S interior pack that including Inferno Red partial leather, heated front seats, power driver seat, power rear windows, other features is technology-filled Driver Assistance Pack and cruise control with Active Speed Limiterand that all come as optional. Under the hood, 2012 Ford Focus Zetec S powered with four engines:

1. 1.6-litre 180PS EcoBoost turbo-charged petrol engine: This engine can give us the acceleration from 0 to 62mph in 7.9 seconds with the top speed up to 138mph and has CO2 emissions of 139g/km CO2.

2. 1.6-litre 115PS TDCi: This engine features auto start-stop, Ford ECO mode, gear shift indicator, active grille shutter and smart regenerative charging.

3. 1.6-litre 125PS Ti-VCT petrol: This engine will equipped with manual or PowerShift automatic transmission.

4. 2.0-litre 163PS TDCi: This engine also will equipped with manual or PowerShift automatic transmission.

2012 Ford Focus Zetec S is based from the current Zetec model, that priced £1,250 higher from standar version, or priced at £18,745, that make this car have the same price like the Ford Titanium that also giving customers the choice of sport or luxury with the same price tag.

2012 Subaru BRZ introduce at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Subaru introduce their new sport car, 2012 Subaru BRZ, at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. This car is joint-project between Subaru and Toyota, like the Toyota GT 86. Not surprisingly, this car have same engine like Toyota GT 86, 2.0-liter horizontally-opposed boxer direct injection engine that producing 200 hp and 205 Nm of torque. This engine equipped with 6-speed manual transmission as standard and 6-speed gearbox as an option.

Same like GT 86, 2012 Subaru BRZ also features with low center of gravity as the engine was mounted closer to the center of the chassis. Subaru also promises this sport car will give the driver new experience with the superior steering response and driving pleasure. This car features with an STI-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, and its own 18-inch wheels. But, like STI, this car come with rear-wheel drive, no AWD option for this car

The 6-speed automatic transmission that available as an option for the 2012 Subaru BRZ will come with “S mode” for better shifting response and “M mode” for optional shifting. Overall, we thing this car come with good design combine with new engine that develope by Subaru and Toyota, that makes this car interesting. At 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, Toyota also release their new sport car, Toyota GT 86, that also this car born by colaboration beatwen this two automaker, Subaru and Toyota. 2012 Toyota GT 86 Debut at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Toyota has unveiled its new sport car ahead of the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, 2012 Toyota GT 86, the Toyota’s new four-seater sports car. Under the hood, this car powered with engine that developed by Toyota and Subaru that combine the D-4S injection technology from Toyota with the boxer engine from Subaru, resulting the naturally aspirated 1,998cc four-cylinder boxer engine. Maximum power output is rated at 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) at 7,000 rpm, maximum torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) is achieved at 6,600 rpm. The engine equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and 6-speed automatic gearbox for the optional.
